MediaPlant is engaged with educational and non-profit institutions locally and globally. Salkowitz serves as Adjunct Professor of Strategic Communication at the University of Washington Graduate School of Communications and as Judge/Coach for young entrepreneurs at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, UW Foster School of Business. He is a founding Board Member of Older Adults Technology Services in New York and on the advisory board of Moyo Jasiri, promoting women entrepreneurs in emerging countries.

In addition to doing keynotes for companies and tradeshows, our consultants have appeared on some of the most prestigious stages on the lecture circuit. Some examples include a TEDx talk, “Transmedia in the Hour of the Nerd,” two panels at Comic-Con International San Diego (audio), the opening address to the online Teen Business Forum (2011), and a series called “Entrepreneurship is…” sponsored by the Lavin Video Project, UW Foster School.
